Our lights work fine, why should we replace them?

A

As you will be aware Government Legislation is phasing out incandescent bulbs, with the 100w bulb last year and the rest to follow in suit. The same principles apply for florescent tubes, with the 8ft tube already discontinued and the rest forecast to follow in time. In addition there are several reasons why our LED lights will benefit your business: Our retrofit solution will save 60-90% off your lighting electricity bill -saving you thousands in running costs, provide valuable environmental benefits and CO2 reductions. However there are a multitude of additional benefits which we will be only too happy to discuss with you further, to explain how our LED lighting solutions can provide additional value for your business.

We want to reduce our carbon footprint but can’t justify the expenditure, are there loans available?

A

Yes, we work closely with the Carbon Trust, and are able to aid you in applying for a loan between £3,000 - £100,000 to fund our solution. All Carbon Trust Loans are interest free, unsecured and are paid back from the energy savings our solution provides.

How long does the implementation take?

A

Implementation time is all dependent on your individual solution and can vary depending on the amount of lights to be installed. However we will work with you to arrange this with the least disruption to your business.

How much is it likely to cost?

A

As our solution is individually tailored to you and your business, every situation differs. However the cost of our solution will always be offset by the savings you will make, and will provide a return on investment. How quickly can we expect to see a return on our investment?

A

Depending on your business environment i.e. types of lights and running hours you will see a return on investment from between 1-4 years. Very often customers who utilise the Carbon trust loan scheme find themselves cash positive from day 1, with no capital outlay.

Will there be much disruption to our business during the implementation?

A

No, as we work with you and tailor our solution to your requirements, the same principles apply during installation, allowing us to arrange the implementation of our solution at the most convenient time for you.

Why are your solutions better than the many others on the market?

A

As an established company we use only the highest quality components and have made a significant investment in utilising the Photonics Cluster – an independent organisation with the second biggest photonics lab in the UK, for the testing of all of our products. All our products are put through rigorous tests enabling us to warranty them for a minimum of 2 years.

How long will the new bulbs last for?

A

All our lights will work for at least 50,000 hours (which is over 5 ½ years of continuous running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week). However we warranty all of our products for a minimum of 2 years.

Can you help us to reduce our carbon footprint in other areas of our business as well?

A

Yes, we work with many partner companies who provide a range of carbon reduction services that are also designed to reduce overheads. We are happy to assess your business and offer advice on these other aspects of carbon reduction and cost saving solutions.
