Cost Savings

Customer X was recommended to ECO through our of our existing customers as they had 8 foot fluorescent tubes which they needed to replace as they have been discontinued and were becoming hard to source.

Customer X are a manufacturer with their lights on for 18hours a day 7 days a week, paying 7.9p per KWh and had a mixture of 8ft fluorescent tubes and 400w sodium high bay lights. Not only was their environment dimly lit but they had considerable maintenance costs associated with re-lamping.

ECO were able to improve the lux levels in their factory considerably with a much brighter, cleaner light and we replaced and installed all their existing 8 foot fluorescent tubes with new 6 foot LED tubes and new fittings, and the existing high bay lights with new units.

Customer X will save £257,038.00 in energy savings alone over the next 5 years (at the rate of £51,408 per annum). Including a maintenance saving of £53,743 and ECA saving in Year 1 of £34,814 the customer will save a total of £345,594 over a 5 year period and 1,748 Co2 Tonnes  (It is also important to note that in Customer X’s environment our LED lights will last for over 7.6 years).
